PANKOBIRLIK General Manager Ramazan Erkoyuncu, PANKOBIRLIK General Manager Tolga Demirhan, ministry representatives, members of the Board of Directors of 31 Beet Growers Cooperative, the representative of Turkey Sugar Factory (Türk Şeker) and other relevant persons attended the general assembly held at the headquarters of PANKOBIRLIK in Ankara.
After the agenda items were read in the General Assembly, the council was formed and the council chairmanship was elected.

Speaking at the 50th Ordinary General Financial Board of PANKOBIRLIK, President of PANKOBIRLIK Ramazan Erkoyuncu said, "In order not to be ashamed of our cooperatives and producers, who deemed us worthy of this honorable duty about a year ago, we shared our feelings with you and the stakeholders of the sector in the clearest way, with all our sincerity and openness. From now on, our motto will always be to maintain our simple and clear stance. We are the representatives of an institution, a union, which has a history of 50 years, has more than 1 million 300,000 members, and has a very high financial power as a sector in total."
“FARMERS WILL PRODUCE MORE, WHEN THEY EARN MORE”
Ramazan Erkoyuncu also touched upon the targets of PANKOBIRLIK.
"I believe that this institution can achieve the success of producing both the fertilizer and the seed that the producer needs, and can deliver them to the producer at affordable costs. We have the organizational power and potential to do this. The farmer will gain from this, and the more he earns, the more he will produce. As a producing country, it means that we will not be affected by the food bottleneck that has put the world into crisis recently. The strength of our union is further enhanced by the full support and agreement you wholeheartedly provide for our sincerity and effort here," he said.
