While all the processes regarding the import of live animals and carcass meat were carried out in secret from the public, it was noteworthy that the price list of the products, especially minced meat and cubed meat sold in the sales stores of the Meat and Dairy Authority (ESK), was removed from the publication for years.

The ministry, which did not make a statement to the public about the documents revealed by the Milli Gazete regarding the mysterious import from Poland, also hid from the public the increase in the meat and cubed meat sold by the ESK within a week.

While Minister Kirişci carries out the whole process in secret to cover up the crisis experienced as a result of bad management in meat, the public learns about the whole process regarding the decisions taken behind closed doors, especially meat imports, from the Milli Gazete.

While the rise in meat prices could not be prevented due to the wrong livestock policy implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture, the Meat and Dairy Institution made the second hike in a week for minced meat and cubed meat, which was sold at half the price of the market.

ESK, which made a 12 percent increase in minced meat and cubed meat last week, has made a 20 percent increase today. Accordingly, the price of minced meat increased from 89 liras to 119 liras, and the price of cubed meat increased from 99 liras to 129 liras, with two increases in succession.

ESK MADE NEW CONNECTIONS FOR IMPORT OF LIVE ANIMALS AND CARCAS MEAT!

While the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry imports live animals and carcass meat from abroad in response to increasing meat prices, the fact that prices continue to increase despite imports reveals the extent of the crisis.

While the Meat and Dairy Institution made contracts for the import of live animals from Hungary, Romania and Uruguay, contracts were made for the import of carcass meat and boneless meat from Poland and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

However, ESK, which continues its search for imports due to the insufficient contracts, has signed new contracts for the import of live animals from South America and Romania according to the latest information, while connections have been made with companies for carcass meat imports from Serbia and Poland.

MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE HAS BEEN SILENT AGAINST SHOCK DOCUMENTS

While the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry carries out the entire process of importation secretly from the public, it also raises the question of the contracts made with the companies.

It was revealed that in the import of 500 tons of carcass meat from Poland, an import contract was made with the company with the higher bid, and not with the company with the lower bid.

The fact that the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry did not make a public statement regarding the scandalous documents revealed by the Milli Gazete drew attention.

EVEN THE ESK'S PRICE LIST IS HIDDEN FROM THE CITIZEN!

While the whole process for the importation of livestock and meat is carried out in secret, the fact that the price hikes made by the Meat and Dairy Authority for minced meat and cubed meat are also hidden from the public reveals the rush of Minister Kirişci and bureaucrats.

While the price list of all the products sold by the Meat and Dairy Authority, especially the ground meat and cubed meat, has been published on the institution's website for years, the price lists have now been removed to hide the price hikes.

Since the ESK is a public institution, all processes must be carried out in a transparent manner.

On the contrary, while all import-related processes are carried out secretly behind closed doors, even the price list is hidden from the public, raises the question, "What is missing from 85 million in livestock and meat imports?"
