President of Religious Affairs Ali Erbaş stated that the Israeli problem will not be resolved unless Muslims can develop planned and comprehensive policies.
"The most important action to end the occupation in Palestine is for Muslim countries and societies to bring forward sanctions that will stop the oppressors and their supporters in the diplomatic, economic and political fields," Erbaş said.
Erbaş spoke at the opening of the Turkey Faculty of Theology and Islamic Sciences Deans' Council Consultation Meeting held under the Presidency of Religious Affairs.
"For more than two months, Gaza has been the scene of incredible brutality by a cruel terrorist organization that considers itself the master of the world. Behind the brutality committed by the invaders in Palestine are theological obsessions and conceptual misconceptions. There is a distorted belief, a perverted understanding and dirty politics. A Zionist terrorist organization, which considers itself chosen, sees the earth as its private property, and dreams of paradise in a geography that it thinks has been promised to them, considers it a virtue to brutally kill thousands of innocent people, including women, children, the elderly and the sick, in order to achieve its nefarious goals," Erbaş added.

Emphasizing that the most important action to end the occupation in Palestine is for Muslim countries and societies to bring forward sanctions that will stop the oppressors and their supporters in the diplomatic, economic and political fields, Erbaş said, "The attitude of global powers in Gaza; It brought about the collapse of an empire built on lies, hypocrisy and double standards. Because all the ideologies and policies they put forward with the claim of bringing peace, tranquility and prosperity to humanity have lost their credibility. The West, which has trampled on all the values it claims to defend, is now bankrupt."
"RELIGIOUS EDUCATION AND SERVICE SHOULD PROVIDE AN IMAGE OF THE WORLD"
Erbaş stated that religious education and service should provide a world vision.
"It is clear that the knowledge produced today in the light of the basic principles and dynamics of Islamic thought needs to be updated according to the needs of the age," Erbaş added.
Erbaş said that the Faculties of Theology and Islamic Sciences, which are institutions that will produce and update religious knowledge and raise a conscious generation with it, have great responsibilities, and that at this point, the faculties have a significant potential in terms of knowledge and experience.
