Cansuyu Assistance and Solidarity Association published a written statement about their work in 2023.
In the written statement made by the association, it was stated that the most important works in 2023 were the works carried out in the earthquake region, and it was noted that the Cansuyu Search and Rescue (CAK) team carried out activities together with AFAD in the regions.
AID WAS DELIVERED TO THE EARTHQUAKE AREA FOR MONTHS
In the statement, it was reminded that coordination centers, logistics centers and soup kitchens were established in all cities in the earthquake region, and underlined that emergency aid was delivered to villages and neighborhoods in the regions for months after urgent needs were identified.
In the statement, it was noted that Anatolian Youth Association (AGD), National Youth Foundation (MGV) and Milko organizations were on the field.
WORKS DONE INTENSIVELY IN PALESTINE AND GAZA
In the statement, it was noted that the Palestine and Gaza issue is an indispensable cause, and it was noted that work in Gaza and Palestine continues.
While work continues in many areas in the region, it was noted that aid was accelerated as Israeli attacks continued as of October 7.
It was underlined that various aid materials such as food packages, daily hot meals, blankets, clothing and emergency humanitarian aid continue to be delivered to the region.
WORKS CONTINUE IN 81 PROVINCES
In the statement, which drew attention to the economic crisis in Turkey, it was noted that aid to citizens in need continued against the difficult conditions of the citizens.
In the statement, it was stated that the needs of the families identified through representatives in 81 provinces were met with dozens of items such as food packages, clothing materials, boots-coats and stationery materials.
It was also underlined that the work will continue in 81 provinces with the support of donors.
THOUSANDS OF WATER WELLS HAVE BEEN OPENED TO DATE
In the statement, it was pointed out that solutions were produced to the problem of access to clean water, which directly affects more than 2 billion people in the world, and it was stated that thousands of water wells have been opened so far in dozens of countries and hundreds of regions, especially in African countries.
ORPHAN WORKS CONTINUE, PERMANENT ARTWORKS ARE BEING LEAVED IN THE REGIONS
In the statement, which stated that many studies were carried out, it was stated that the pensions given by donors for 12 months were delivered to orphans in many regions around the world, and it was also reminded that permanent works were provided at many points.
In the statement, it was stated that with the Oğuzhan Asiltürk Vocational Training Center built in Gaza, people living in the region were provided with the opportunity to find employment, and the construction of a university campus in Bangsomoro was continuing.
It was noted that some of the structures such as mosques, masjids, schools, hospitals, health centers and classrooms have been opened and construction continues in different continents.
