It turned out that the government, which left the farmers alone with expensive fertilizer by keeping silent about the exorbitant price increase in fertilizer prices, started a work on fertilizer that it has not done so far.

The government is trying to cover up the problems caused by the wrong policies applied in agriculture with palliative measures.

While the input costs of the producer are increasing, the attempt to reduce the food prices on the market side is considered as a tragicomic situation, and the invoice for the discount campaign launched through the Agricultural Credit Markets will also be issued to the farmer.

While this was happening on the food side, it turned out that the government was also conducting a study on fertilizer prices, which it had ignored until now.

While fertilizer prices have increased 7-8 times in the last 6-8 months, the farmer's reaction was that no action was taken against the exorbitant price increases in fertilizers.

However, with the new study started, it is aimed to give fertilizer to the farmer at an affordable price through Agricultural Credit Cooperatives.

The government's initiation of work on the supply of fertilizer to farmers at affordable prices through the Agricultural Credit Cooperatives will also document the vindication of the Milli Gazete in the news of the big profiteering in fertilizer.

FERTILIZER IS IMPORTED FROM IRAN AT AFFORDABLE PRICE!

Milli Gazete reached the details of the work that the government is working on on fertilizer, which is the most important input of the farmer in agricultural production.

Accordingly, urea fertilizer produced in "RAZI", where "GÜBRETAŞ" has a 48 percent share in Iran, will be imported at an affordable price.

In fact, it is recorded that the first ships to import urea fertilizers set off.

GÜBRETAŞ PURCHASED 250,000 TONS OF FERTILIZER FROM MEHMET CENGİZ'S FACTORY!

Apart from urea fertilizer, GÜBRETAŞ also procured DAP and compound fertilizers from Mehmet Cengiz's ETİ GÜBRE factory.

With Hüseyin Aydın being the general manager of Agricultural Credit Cooperatives, 250,000 tons of fertilizer was purchased from Mehmet Cengiz in a short time.

GÜBRETAŞ' COMPOSITE FERTILIZER PRODUCTION HAS BEEN STOPPED, 150,000 TONS OF COMPOSITE FERTILIZER BOUGHT FROM MEHMET CENGİZ!

While GÜBRETAŞ belonging to Agricultural Credit Cooperatives had compound fertilizer production, it was revealed that 150,000 tons of 20.20 (composite fertilizer) was purchased from Eti Fertilizer on the grounds that it was produced expensively by General Manager Hüseyin Aydın.

It was learned that Hüseyin Aydın, who is also the Chairman of the Board of GÜBRETAŞ, complained in the in-house meetings that "you produce more expensive fertilizers".

The fact that the general manager of the institution complained about expensive production and bought fertilizer from Eti Gübre revealed the contradiction experienced in GÜBRETAŞ, which belongs to the farmer.

WILL THE SAME FERTILIZER SUPPORT BE GIVEN THROUGH AGRICULTURAL LOAN COOPERATIVES?

On the other hand, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Vahit Kirişci announced that by simplifying agricultural supports, diesel and fertilizer in wheat, barley, rye, oats and oilseeds will be covered in kind.

This statement of Minister Kirişci brought up the question of through which institution the in-kind support for diesel and fertilizer would be given to the farmer.

According to the information received, the fact that the Agricultural Credit Cooperatives made a serious purchase in urea, DAP and composite fertilizers shows that the fertilizer support in question will be given through the Agricultural Credit Cooperatives.

MİLLİ GAZETE REVEALED THE HIT NUMBERS IN HEADLINES!

It was revealed that GÜBRETAŞ, the farmer's company, imported fertilizer at an affordable price, but sold it to the farmer at exorbitant prices.

GÜBRETAŞ, which imported urea fertilizer at 2,050 liras in February 2021, sold the same fertilizer to the farmer at 3,240 liras.

Although Milli Gazete revealed this with its documents, no action was taken regarding the exorbitant sale and the issue was covered up.
