Saadet Party General Administrative Board Meeting (GİK) came together under the chairmanship of Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu. Speaking on the economy and foreign policy at the meeting, Karamollaoğlu stated that the economic policies implemented by the government hurt the citizens, and stated that the citizens had difficulty in living with the salaries they received and said, “The situation that hurts our people the most is the bad state of the economy. Our people cannot live on with their salaries. Not only our citizens, but also the ministers cannot. Look, ministers get salaries from more than one job, why can't they live on one salary?”

“THE ISLAMIC WORLD BLEEDS DUE TO FAULTS”

Karamollaoğlu stated that the ways the Justice and Development Party (AKP) has followed in foreign policy since the first day it came to power have harmed both Turkey and the Islamic world, “The government, which has placed cooperation with America and Israel at the center from the beginning, has therefore fallen behind in cooperation with Islamic countries. Because of this, what happened in Iraq at the beginning of their rule took place. Therefore, the policies followed from the beginning caused problems in the Islamic world. The blood does not stop in the Islamic world because of foreign policies gone wrong. At one point, they were going to give Cyprus with the Annan Plan, they were going to leave the Aegean to Greece, then they are doing heroism to deceive the nation,” he added.

“PRESENTATIONS RELATED TO WORK AREAS MADE”

While the meeting was held with intense participation, the vice presidents made presentations about their working areas. At the meeting, suggestions were made regarding the work to be done and evaluations were made about the ways to be followed.

“SYSTEM MUST BE REGULATED”

Karamollaoğlu, who criticizes the presidential system, reacted to the statements that the President gave instructions in every activity made and said, “Now we have come to such a point that even when trying to extinguish a hospital fire, they say 'by the order of the President'. If we have become like this, nothing can be resolved in Turkey. Even in the efforts to extinguish a hospital fire, is the President the decision maker? This system should be regulated. It used to be called the undersecretariat, it was the backbone of the ministry. Now this has been removed. The memory of the ministry has been erased.”
