Saadet Party Elâzığ Provincial President Abdullah Akın and Saadet Party Elâzığ Provincial Executive Board members came together and visited to the shop owners who were aggrieved in Sivrice district and listened to their troubles and problems. Listening to the troubles and problems of the shop owners, Abdullah Akın then paid a visit to Sivrice District Governor Efe Can Şahin in his office. The visit was followed with great interest by members of the local media. Stating that the shops in Sivrice, which were demolished, were built instead of the ones that were demolished, but they were not delivered to them, Abdullah Akın underlined that the shops were built in violation of the Planned Areas Zoning Regulation.

We are here to listen to the problem too. A new shop is built to replace the one that was destroyed on the corner or on the street before the earthquake, but it is given to someone else, not to him. As if that wasn't enough, the shop given to him is like a shelter, with a low ceiling height of two and a half meters. According to the zoning regulations, the planned areas cannot be manufactured with a shop height below three and a half meters. But let's see that someone ignores this and gives it to the citizens by force.”
“WE CAN'T ACCEPT INJUSTICE, NO MATTER COMES FROM WHOM”
Underlining that there is no solution to the grievances of shopkeepers in Sivrice, “An Justice and Development Party (AKP) minister, 4 deputies and local officials know about this problem. Why isn't it resolved, because they don't care. This country cannot be governed by what I did. You have to be fair. What is done to our citizens does not comply with the law, regulation or conscience. Citizens have been writing petitions to the governor's office and ministry for months but not getting results. You take the corner shop of this citizen, you give it to someone else, you give it a low 2 and a half meter shop next to it like a shelter. This is cruelty, it should be fixed as soon as possible. Governor, I talked to the district governor. I received information from the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization. We are following the event. We will fight until this case is resolved. In Elazig, the Saadet Party, with its entire legal personality, is against injustice and oppression. We cannot accept injustice no matter who it comes from,” Abdullah Akın added.
