In this context, the Saadet Party Elazığ delegation, which made visits to the tradesmen on Gazi Street, listened to the problems of the citizens. The visits were followed with great interest by members of the local media. Listening to the economic difficulties and problems of the tradesmen, Abdullah Akın gave information to the citizens on the "Elazığ Development Plan Map" developed by the Elazığ Provincial Presidency of the Saadet Party.

“TURKEY HAS 10 MILLION UNEMPLOYED, 55 MILLION MINIMUM WAGE EARNERS”

Listening to the problems of a white goods seller within the scope of the tradesmen's visit, Saadet Party Elazığ Provincial Chairman Abdullah Akın drew attention to the increase in white goods prices in recent years and said, “The cost of white goods for a young couple who wants to get married is astonishing. It is not possible for a minimum wage earner to pay these monies. There are 10 million unemployed and 55 million minimum wage earners in Turkey. Unfortunately, our nation is devastated as a result of investments that do not put 5 Turkish Liras (TL) in the pockets of the citizens. The picture drawn by the Justice and Development Party (AKP) does not reflect the reality of Turkey. Turkey's reality is our young man who has given up hope for the future, who cannot even buy white goods. Here everything is connected. If the minimum wage is insufficient, even young people cannot buy white goods, our shopkeepers cannot do business. For this reason, the salary that our nation will receive should be brought to a sufficient level.”

“WE PREPARED THE ELAZIĞ DEVELOPMENT PLAN MAP FOR YOU”

Taking the promise of young support, Abdullah Akın stated that university graduates can overcome their working as cashiers by opening new job fields, “Today, the civil servants who do additional work with their children say, 'Our salary is not enough, my president, I have 3 children to make them study, I have to work extra'. These problems are not solved with conflict, with valor, but with project and knowledge. In order for you to work in your own field, a new job field must be opened for you. Therefore, 50,000 jobs will be created directly in Elazig. We have prepared the Elazig Development Plan Map for you,” he added.
