Saadet Party Istanbul Organization brought Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayoral candidate Birol Aydın together with members of the press at the Istanbul Congress Center within the scope of the "Media Meeting and Project Promotion Meeting".
The opening speech at the meeting was made by Saadet Party Istanbul Provincial Chairman Ömer Faruk Yazıcı.
“WE ARE GETTING STRANGER AS WE GO TO ISTANBUL”
Birol Aydın started his speech after Yazıcı and talked about the projects prepared by experts in their fields that will provide solutions to the problems and needs of Istanbul.
In his speech, Aydın talked about solutions that will eliminate the major problems of Istanbul.
"Dear members of the press, dear Istanbulites; Under the name of Istanbul's problems, many alternative solutions are offered regarding traffic, earthquakes and other issues, and many projects are promised. However, Istanbul's real problem is neither just traffic nor just earthquakes. The main problem of Istanbul and Istanbulites; It's a living, it's a living, it's a living. Today, we are faced with an Istanbul where the uncanny is rampant. Today, we are people who live in Istanbul but are increasingly at odds with their city and therefore with themselves. We are becoming more and more alienated from this city where we were born, fed, known as our home, and to which we are connected with thousands of stories," Aydın said.
“THOSE LIVING IN ISTANBUL ARE NOT HAPPY”
"People living in Istanbul are mostly not happy," Aydın explained that drugs, prostitution, gambling, waste and poverty have become widespread.
"Despite all this, do not despair. Because there is an option that will save Istanbul from this situation. And that is Milli Görüş municipalism," Aydın added.
Aydın said that they will encourage especially those who do not have business connections in Istanbul and retirees to live in their hometown or another city of their choice, provide housing exchange opportunities, guide young entrepreneurs with full-fledged development centers, guarantee the purchase of agricultural products produced in nearby provinces and offer them through chain markets.
