According to statistics, the number of companies established in January 2022 increased by 0,6 percent compared to the same month of the previous year, while the number of closed companies increased by 7,8 percent. According to the data, there was an explosion in the number of cooperatives that were closed compared to the same month of the previous year, an increase of 933,3 percent.
0,6 PERCENT ESTABLISHED, 7,8 PERCENT CLOSED
The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB)'s January statistical data revealed the companies that opened and closed in Turkey. According to the data, the number of companies established in January 2022 increased by 0,6 percent compared to the same month of the previous year, while the number of closed companies increased by 7,8 percent. In addition, there was an explosion in the number of cooperatives that were closed compared to the same month of the previous year, an increase of 933,3 percent.
CAPITAL DECREASED 15,9 PERCENT COMPARED TO THE PREVIOUS MONTH
On the other hand, according to January 2022 data, 87,4 percent of 11,526 companies and cooperatives established in total were limited liability companies, 11,5 percent were joint stock companies and 1,1 percent were cooperatives. 40 percent of companies and cooperatives are in Istanbul, 9,3 percent was established in Ankara and 6 percent in İzmir. It was also reflected in the data that the total capital of the companies established in January 2022 decreased by 15,9 percent compared to the previous month.
