Türk-İş Confederation offers 9,000 TL for minimum wage but still no results!

The 3rd meeting of the Minimum Wage Determination Commission, which is expected by millions of citizens, was held yesterday. The meeting, which lasted 2 hours and 45 minutes, did not yield any results.

Türk-İş Confederation Chairman Ergün Atalay said, “The hunger limit of Türk-İş Confederation is 7,785 Turkish Liras (TL), and the poverty line is 20,000 TL. For 20 days, they have been saying that Türk-İş's demand is 7,785 TL. We didn't have any offers. Now I told the proposal to the Minister and the commission. Türk-İş's offer is 9,000 TL. If they give, we sit at the table and sign, if they don't, we're not involved in that issue.”
