The Ministry, by signing a major scandal in food inspections, removed the productions contrary to the label such as pide, lahmacun, pastry and ravioli in mass consumption places such as restaurants, restaurants, cafes and recreational facilities, especially catering companies, from the scope of adulteration and then completely from the scope of inspection.

With the scandalous decision of the Ministry, cheap meat such as chicken and offal can be used in these dishes, as if they were made from red meat. The Ministry, on the other hand, will ignore these products that deceive the citizens by not inspecting them.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry softened the controls on fraudulent production against the rising food prices with the economic crisis.

The instruction sent by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry to the provincial organizations regarding the inspection of foods such as pide, lahmacun, börek and mantı revealed a major scandal regarding fraudulent production in food.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, which encourages companies engaged in fraudulent food production by not publishing their counterfeit and adulteration list for 16 months, announced that inspections were abandoned for foods such as pide, lahmacun, börek and mantı, with the instruction it sent to 81 provincial directorates on 6 June.

Fraudulent productions excluded from the scope of adulteration have started to be evaluated within the scope of violation of the label. However, this step back by the Ministry against fraudulent production encouraged companies.

Although it is declared that it is made from red meat in mass consumption places such as restaurants, cafes, restaurants and recreational facilities, where the citizens consume the most, especially in catering companies, there has been an explosion in the use of chicken meat and offal in pita, lahmacun, börek and mantı.

Upon the increase in the penalties for non-compliance with the label in the inspections, the Ministry took a new decision on June 6 and abolished the inspections for label violations for these products.

THEY WILL CHEAT THE CITIZEN AS THEY WANT, THE MINISTRY WILL NOT SEE

With the new decision taken by the Ministry on June 6, catering companies will be able to sell dishes made of chicken meat or offal, while being shown as made of red meat in mass consumption places such as restaurants, cafes and recreational facilities.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry will ignore these fraudulent productions that deceive the citizens.

WHO MADE THIS DECISION TO THREAT THE PUBLIC HEALTH?

While this decision, which destroyed the reliability of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry against food inspections, threatened public health and prevented it from reaching safe food, was considered a complete scandal, the question of "who gave this order?" came to the fore.

While it is stated that intense complaints from companies are effective in this step of the Ministry against fraudulent production in dishes such as pide, lahmacun, borek and ravioli, it is wondered about the companies/firms that are so influential in the decisions of the Ministry.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, in a statement on the subject, tried to draw attention elsewhere to cover up the scandal.

In the statement of the Ministry, no sound information was given as to why the fraudulent production of dishes such as pide, lahmacun, börek and mantı, which deceives the citizens, was excluded from the scope of inspection, and stated that the inspections of pork and equine hoofs continue in these products.

However, although it was not stated in the news on the subject that the inspections of pigs and equids were excluded, it was significant that the Ministry tried to divert attention in the scandalous decision.

Along with the economic crisis, the cost of living was effective in the fact that the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry took a step back against fraudulent production that threatens public health.

While the use of products declared on the label will cause these products to be sold more expensive, the use of chicken and offal in products made from red meat has begun to be tolerated in order to hide the cost of living.
