Istanbul Chamber of Commerce President Şekib Avdagiç was the Chairman of the Council in ASRİAD's General Assembly program.

The General Assembly started with the greeting speech of President Adnan Danışman.

"During the pandemic period, some people added to their money through the rent economy. We expect the current economic management to calculate the sector distribution well and facilitate incentives in practice, as stated in theory. If this is carried out equitably, it will be easy to achieve permanent growth. Economic balance must fully cover both employers, employees, retirees and unemployed people," Danışman said.

“UNLESS THIS GENOCIDE CONTINUES IN GAZA, DAYLIGHT, THE SUN IS FORBIDDEN FOR US”

Danışman, who brought the theme of "Call for Scarcity" to the massacres in Gaza, "Gaza is the problem of the whole ummah. When these massacres began, I felt like a bedridden patient whose only voice was heard. As this genocide continues in Gaza, daylight and sun are forbidden to us," he said.

Speaking on behalf of the Board of Directors, İbrahim Cemil Yıldız stated that Islamic countries should take responsibility to end the ongoing oppression in Gaza.

Minister of Commerce Ömer Bolat gave information about Turkey's economy and export targets. Noting that the 9.1 percent unemployment figure announced the previous day was pleasing for our economy, Bolat explained the points to be reached in Turkey's export targets in 2024 and 2028.

“I MEET ONE-ON-ONE WITH THE SPEAKER OF THE ASSEMBLY OF NEARLY 40 COUNTRIES”

Numan Kurtulmuş, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, emphasized in his speech that the world has been designed by those who "hold the power" for the last three centuries.

"Today, Iraq is under occupation, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt and Libya are politically divided. If those who hold the balance of power in the world wanted to, they could stop the genocide and massacre in Gaza in one minute. As the President of the Parliament, I met one-on-one with the Parliament Speakers of nearly 40 countries. Israel bombed a hospital... Speakers of parliament ask me, 'How do you know what Israel did?'... They don't even think this suits these war criminals. They stand behind them," Kurtulmuş said.

At the end of the election, İbrahim Cemil Yıldız, who entered the 3rd Ordinary General Assembly of ASRİAD as the only candidate, was elected as the new chairman.
