The last bend of the minimum wage has been entered. The minimum wage, the third meeting of which will take place today, is expected to be announced next week. It is claimed that the amount formed in the commission is at least 4,000 Turkish Liras.

The Minimum Wage Determination Commission will hold its third meeting at Turkish Confederation of Employer Associations (TİSK), hosted by the bosses. After the meeting where the employer's demands will be discussed, the relevant organizations will work on the final figure.
 

NUMBERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT NEXT WEEK

 
The first meeting was held on 1 December and the second meeting was held on 7 December, with the meeting to be held at 10:00 today, the last bend in the minimum wage will be entered. At this year's meeting, workers, employers and government parties came together on a common ground to determine the figure as soon as possible. For this reason, the process, which was more brisk compared to previous years, is expected to end next week, between 13-17 December, and the new figure is expected to be announced to the public.
 

MINIMUM FIGURE 4,000 TL

 
Not only the date, but also the figures about the minimum wage process began to become clear. Vedat Bilgin, Minister of Labor and Social Security, shared the surveys on minimum wage with both public and parties at the first meeting held on December 1. According to the results of the survey, it was noted that the worker wanted a minimum wage of 3,750 – 4,000 Turkish Liras (TL) and the employer wanted a minimum wage between 3,500-3,750 TL. On the other hand, it is claimed that a wage below the figure of 4,000 TL was not discussed in the commission.
