Turkish lira hits new record low after Erdogan election victory

The rope of the dollar, which was suppressed as much as possible before the election and billions of dollars of reserves were burned for this purpose, loosened after the election.

The dollar, which broke its new historical record yesterday, saw the level of 20.40 according to the Central Bank data, while the euro reached 22 liras.

In the Grand Bazaar, the dollar was traded at 21 and the euro at 22.40.
