Abu Bakr, who met with local journalists in Paris, the capital of France, evaluated Israel's cutting off the internet connection in Gaza and the death of 84 journalists, including 9 women, in Israeli attacks in a period of approximately 2 months.

Abu Bakr stated that interrupting the internet connection constitutes a crime according to international law because it prevents the transfer of information.

What is happening in Palestine is a crime against press freedom and humanity, Abu Bakr said.

Abu Bakr noted that the international community would act differently if what was happening in the region happened in another country.

Abu Bakr said that the international community constantly talks about freedom, freedom of expression and press, democracy and human rights.

"When it comes to Palestine, these values disappear and freedom of expression is suddenly banned," Abu Bakr added.

Abu Bakr stated that they will continue to convey the suffering in Gaza to the world and that no one can stop them on this path.

The Palestinian journalist pointed out that Israel, which committed a crime in this regard, will have to answer to the court.
