Speaking to the Milli Gazete, son Yusuf Atlıhan said, “The value of this document was great for my father. Wherever we moved, he hung this service certificate on the wall of our new house. It was worth a medal of honor for him.”
One of the provinces where the great earthquake that took place as epicenter in Kahramanmaraş and caused tens of thousands of deaths in 10 provinces, caused heavy damage was Adıyaman. The “National Youth Foundation 25th Year Outstanding Service Certificate” belonging to Habib Atlıhan, who passed away in the earthquake that hit Adıyaman very hard, came out of the wreck and saddened those who saw it. Habib Atlıhan, who delivered his life trust to his Lord with his 2 sons as a result of the collapse of the house he lived in with his family, had struggled for many years in the Milli Görüş organizations. It was learned that the late Habib Atlıhan's wife, who survived the earthquake, is also under treatment at the hospital and is in good condition.

Yusuf Atlıhan, son of the late Habib Atlıhan, expressed his feelings about this meaningful memory of his father to the Milli Gazete. Yusuf Atlıhan, whose pain for his father and brothers who passed away is still very fresh, said, “My father was the person who made us meet with the National Youth Foundation (MGV). It enabled us to grow up in MGV/ Anatolian Youth Association (AGD). My father attached great importance to the 'National Youth Foundation 25th Year Outstanding Service Certificate' signed on his behalf for his services. The value of this document was enormous for my father. We changed three or four different houses. Wherever we moved, my father used to hang this service certificate on the wall of our new house. It was worth a medal of honor for him.” We wish Allah Almighty's mercy on Habib Atlıhan, one of the Mujahideen of Milli Gorus, his children who died in the same earthquake, all our earthquake martyrs, and a speed recovery to Habib Atlıhan's injured wife and all injured earthquake victims.
