The Saadet Party, which started the "Saadet on the Field" program to listen to the difficulties experienced by the tradesmen and citizens with the decreasing purchasing power due to the rising cost of living and inflation in recent years, accelerated its field work while the elections were a short time away. In this context, Vice President Cafer Güneş in Zonguldak, Mustafa Kaya in Antalya and General Administrative Board (GIK) member Hasan Uzun landed in Rize.
The program "Saadet on the Field", in which the Saadet Party listens to the problems experienced by citizens and tradesmen, continues throughout Turkey. Saadet Party Deputy Chairman Cafer Güneş met with tradesmen and citizens in Zonguldak, Mustafa Kaya in Antalya and GİK Member Hasan Uzun in Rize.
“We are determined to fight poverty and prohibitions”
Vice President Cafer Güneş, who held a press conference in Zonguldak, stated that they focused on the real agenda of the people and that they contacted and listened to the citizens in every province they went to. Noting that the country is facing a pessimistic picture, Güneş said, “We are determined to fight poverty and prohibitions. We have achieved this every time we were partners in power, and today, our people from all walks of life still remember those days with longing. We will succeed today as we did yesterday. It is not difficult at all to reduce inflation, increase the purchasing power of people, establish a ‘humane living’ conditions for everyone, and ensure justice in income distribution. As long as the problem of those who come to work is not only to protect the seat they sit in, but to solve the problems of the country. As long as the source of motivation for those in power is not only to win elections, but to solve the problems of our people and to be remembered with goodness.”
SALARY DIFFERENCES MELT IN TWO MONTHS
Within the scope of his program, Deputy Chairman of the Saadet Party in charge of Foreign Relations, Mustafa Kaya who made contacts in Antalya, worked in all 19 districts with 6 members of the General Administrative Board. General president Deputy Mustafa Kaya said, “We are experiencing great economic difficulties. We are in the 7th place in the world in inflation. We are in an environment where inflation constantly reduces the purchasing power, and even all kinds of salary hikes increase in 1-2 months with inflation. While the poverty line was 8,600 Turkish Liras (TL), it has now increased to 29,423 TL. This statistic, which has been revealed over a two-year period, is an important proof of how people in our country are struggling with inflation. With this logic, there is no possibility of a way out from here.” Saadet Party General Administrative Board Member Hasan Uzun, together with Rize Central District President Mustafa Kalender and a delegation of board members, visited the tradesmen and citizens in Eminettin Neighborhood. Stating that the biggest problems of tradesmen and citizens are the current economic conditions, GİK Member Hasan Uzun said, “The life conditions are not updated, not improved, by saying ‘update’ instead of the word ‘raise’. The sea is over. There are useless chatter on one side, empty pots on the other, unpaid rents, aids needed. Now it has to stop. That the nation will say stop in the next election. We will bring happiness to our Rize and our country.”
