Imam Emrullah Sarman, who kept his promise to the children who became the permanent congregation of the tarawih prayers in the mosque, kept his promise the other day. Sarman, who had a feast for the children at iftar with the kebabs he prepared with his own hands, made special statements to our newspaper.
“Islam embodies values that will bring peace and tranquility not only to Muslims but to the whole world. Youth are the guarantee of this peace," Sarman said. "We, with this belief, are striving to raise young people in our Kuba Mosque with determination. We have students that we have a weekly conversation with the young people, a football match, sports activities, Qur’an lessons, and daytime hafiz studies," Sarman added.
“WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOUTHS THAT WE CAN CONSOLIDATE THEIR FAITH”
Emrullah Sarman, who said that young people should be given importance, said, “Our goal is to reach a young person. To be instrumental in a young person's prayer, to be instrumental in a young person's learning of the Qur'an. Because the Prophet (pbuh) states that the one who is instrumental in the guidance of one person is as if he has been instrumental in the guidance of all people. Here we are looking for a young man whose guidance we will be instrumental in for the rest of his life, and we are striving for this. Because we know that the real power of a nation is neither its tank nor its cannon, but the real power of a nation is its faithful and religious children.”
